Vacation! 24.05.

Last day of my vacation *sigh* It was my first vacation since october 2008 so I really, really needed it and it was so nice not to think about work for 10 whole days..

  • My friend Janet was here on Monday and Tuesday, hadn’t seen her in a YEAR, living so far away from your best friends sucks sometimes :/ We went shopping, watched movies and drank too much Whiskey-Cola
  • My mother came over on Wednesday and stayed for two days. She hadn’t been here in a year either, same problem; distance. blah.
  • Watched the first two seasons of True Blood with Andreas and I love it, can’t wait for the next season to come out!
  • Took out all the drawing and painting utensils I kinda inherited from my father but i haven’t had any time to do anything with it yet, maybe today
  • Went too the Lush store and got myself the new facial serum and a facial mask (cupcake). Tried them out this weekend:

    • The facial serum Loving Face is so great; makes your face so soft <3


  • Watched the Halloween remake by Rob Zombie on saturday night and was so scared afterward, I’m such a pussy but I love horror movies.. :(
  • Baked a vegan apple pie yesterday and it is so so so delicious :D I don’t think I can ever live 100% vegan, I love (vegetarian) cheese and chocolate too much but I guess cutting out eggs and milk in other products is a good start nonetheless.
  • And now it is monday and my last day off, I’m just gonna surf the web today and continue reading the Lou Reed biography (<3). Some friends are coming over tonight to play board games and then tomorrow normal life starts again, ugh. I am already looking forward to my next vacation in July hehe

    Bathroom Inspiration 14.04.

    I can’t say anything about the job situation at the moment, but you know when all of a sudden there are so many changes in your life and life seems to push you in a certain direction? That’s definitely what’s happening in my life right now and I’m scared and excited at the same time. We’ll see what happens in the course of this week..

    I’m in love with these bathrooms. Unfortunately I have the smallest (yellow! argh!) bathroom in the world (about 2 m²/ 21 ft²) and with the ugly, brown, tiles it has, I can’t even be bothered to make it nice.

    I just bought my dream chair for my desk and I’m in love with it   :D
    I just had to take it home with me..

    Soyatoo 18.01.

    I’m telling you, this stuff tastes just as great as regular whipped cream. It’s slightly different, a bit creamier, but delicious. Best thing is that it’s organic, vegan and has less calories. No need to use regular cream anymore.. :)

    I took a day off today, I’m not feeling too well, so I’m going to use my time to watch the last two episodes of Lost (season 5) and start reading in ‘Living Dead in Dallas’ by Charlaine Harris lol, you can’t compare her books to Anne Rice’s Vampire chronicles, but they’re ok and entertaining.
